Java program running on WINNT MQ5.2.1 creates messages and writes to a remote queue of MQ5.1 on AS/400. Triggered RPGLE pgm running on AS/400 gets the message does the processing, populates with new fields and puts the message onto WINNT remote queue. The message is sent to WINNT on XML format. The message can be viewed on WINNT in hex format and it has the correct set of XML fields.

The problem: Once the msg is put to WINNT the CCSID is set to 37 and Encoding is 273. Due to these settings we cannot publish the message using MQSI as it goes to a failure queue. What is the CCSID value and Encoding required to publish the message using MQSI and how can we set it up. The msg format the WINNT receives is MQSTR.
