Has anyone used the Resource Statistics in WMBv7 using the command line tools (mqsichangeresourcestats and mqsireportresourcestats) ?

did following steps -

1. create subscrption for -
"$SYS/Broker/MB7BROKER/ResourceStatistics/default" to a local queue

2. Ran the command,
mqsichangeresourcestats MB7BROKER -c active -e default

3. Put some messages to a message flow depoyed under 'default'

don't see any messages in local queue.


May I missing any? any pointings is appreciated

That looks fine to me, I assume you've followed the instructions here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v7r0m0/topic/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/bj43300_.htm
You might want to try enabling and viewing resource stats using MBX; does that make a difference? Look at the JVM usage stats tab if you can, as these show positive values even when nothing's passing through the broker.

Yep, we have the followed the below info center link in executing the resource stats commands.

MBX is not an options for us in our environment.

I think the document is not complete,

the topic string should be

$SYS/Broker/MB7BROKER/ResourceStatistics/default/#
