Hello all,

A client of mine has v7.0.1.0 installed on their AIX 6.1 servers. We are trying to patch it to v7.0.1.2. Using the SMIT console, we are getting Requisite errors when we do an update. Below is the message we are getting:

I currently have the client downloading 7.0.1.1 to see if that fixes everything, but I am wondering if any of you know what could be causing this.

alright well we were able to install 7.0.1.1 just fine so I am thinking we needed to install that before 7.0.1.2.

It should not be necessary to do this, I thought.

What was the "requisite failure" ? Were there any more specific error messages saying what was required but absent?
