Hi,

I am having a queue remote on iseries and its target queue is present on Mainframe. I want to change the target queue of the remote queue.
But when i am trying to make the change, i am getting the below error,
AMQ8148: WebSphere MQ object in use

I have checked the opprocs and ipprocs of both the remote queue and target queue as well. they are 0 but still i am facing the issue.

Could anyone suggest me what could be the possible reason for this and how should i overcome this.

Thanks in advance.

You would not find the IP/OPPROC of RemoteQDefinition.

AMQ8409: Display Queue details.
QUEUE(TEST.REMOTE) TYPE(QREMOTE)
ALTDATE(2010-06-29) ALTTIME(20.11.23)
CLUSNL( ) CLUSTER( )
CLWLPRTY(0) CLWLRANK(0)
DEFBIND(OPEN) DEFPRTY(0)
DEFPSIST(NO) DEFPRESP(SYNC)
DESCR( ) PUT(ENABLED)
RQMNAME(QM1) RNAME(TEST)
SCOPE(QMGR) XMITQ(QM1)

Please check the QS (queue status ) of XMITQ associated with RQD. IF you find some process ( as amqsput ) and its PID you can kill it , to resume what you want.

DISPLAY QS(XMITQNAME) TYPE(HANDLE) PID

Thanks a lot shashivarungupta.

Two application jobs were connected to the associated XMITQ. I ended those jobs with the help of application team and it worked.

Thanks again.
