You can not configure the same broker to be part of two separate Broker Domains - that is, each Broker must be registered to only one ConfigMgr.

there's absolutely no requirement, never has been, that any broker lives on the same machine as the configmgr. And there's no requirement, and never has been, that a single configmgr can only talk to one Broker.

But what you really want to do is migrate to v7, and stop bothering with a ConfigMgr in the first place.

Thanks for the reply....

let me explain my doubt....

i have a config manager called A_CM on queue manager A_QM and Broker called A_BRoker on queue manager A_QM on this xx.xx.xx.xx IP address.

now i want to deploy my flow on different Broker called B_BROKER having queue manager B_QM on YY.YY.YY.YY IP address and this B_BROKER not belongs to any Broker Domain and not connected to any Config Manager.

this may be a silly question but please let me know....

Therein lies your problem.

Once upon a time, there was a broker that fell out of love with its config manager.
The old configmanager went off in a huff and disappeared never to be seen again.
Now the broker feels lonely and pines (for the fjords) for its Config manager once more.
The lonely broker would dearly like to be ADOPTED by a config manager once more.
The New (A_CM) config manager said yes, please let me Adopt you.
The broker was then happy once more.

Or something like that...

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

If it's not connected to any configmgr, then it's not an active and full broker yet.

Please explain my doubt that you have read any documentation on how to connect a broker to a configmgr.

Then how does anybody use it if it's not connected to any Config Manager?

However, if it really is not registered with any Config Manager then you can add it to yours as my most worthy associate has already indicated.

If you think for a moment about how the Config Manager communicates with it's broker(s) you'll realise this is a bit of a silly question.
