Recently my MQ Service is failing everytime it starts to run. It starts and then fails and my event viewer fills with errors saying
An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (WinNT error 123 from OpenMutex.)
MQ detected an unexpected error when calling the operating system. The MQ error recording routine has been called.
Has anyone seen this problem before and/or know the fix? It was running fine for weeks then this began happening. There have also been application errors on startup saying that amqzmur0.exe and other MQ processes were not able to read memory locations. A complete MQ reinstall also was unable to solve the problem.

Yes - it's here though interestingly it's supposed to be included in the version you're running. I'd apply the latest fix pack & raise a PMR if that doesn't help. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

You might also want to enquire with the admins what they changed on the OS just before this started happening. Even if it was a trival change that couldn't possibly be causing this, etc, etc, etc.... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
