I have MQ setup with FIRST trigger.
We have a issue that we want to hold the trigger in MQ that it doesnot fire a trigger (initiate a transaction) between specific period of time..Means 11 pm to 1 am next morining.

Let me quote it again:

Messages are queued in MQ,But Mq doesnot fire the transaction between 11 pm to 1 am is it possible??

Not using MQ alone.

But you could schedule a batch job (I am assuming this is z/OS) to turn triggering off and on with a MQSC script.

You need to think about what will happen if the queue already contains messages when triggering is re-enabled (I can't remember what happens!).

The QM will generate a trigger message if all other trigger conditions are met.
