Dears,
I have Toolkit 7.0 installed on my machine by one of my colleague. i did not find MB Administratin perspective on it. i tried to show all but still it is missing.
How can I display Broker Administration Perspective?
I'm trying to connect to our Development Broker through toolkit but getting following error message
A broker has not been defined on queue manager 'EEAX901I' (MQ reason code 2085 while trying to open a queue)
Check that,
1. The broker is running.
2. The TCP/IP port of the queue manager is active if it is remote. |

This has moved to the MBExplorer add on to WMQExplorer.
There is a separate install for it on the same Cd/download as the Broker for Windows & Linux. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

The Administration Perspective actually has two V7 equivalents:
1) MB Explorer is best if you're doing full-time broker/MQ administration.
2) If you're doing message flow development, then the Brokers View (in the MB Toolkit Broker Application Development perspective) is better. It allows you to deploy/start/stop things without switching perspectives or tools.
hkhan121, the error message you pasted is pretty self-explanatory; follow the instructions it says. |

Despite what mqmatt says about that error message being self-explanatory, it is also the error you will get when you try to use v7 tooling to a v6.1 Broker queue manager. |
