past two days i face some problem in my mq v6.0,i say what i did.for ex, i created 1 qmgr then create necessary action like that
create a listner, this listner running in port(9000),then i created SVRCONN(server conn channel).then i put one test msg on this qmgr
FOR EX " amqsput host1(queuename) host1/echo.hup(qmgr name)" using this commond,i m not getting the desired result.

this is one problem, but some mqsc commonds not working in my mq commond console, like that amqsbcg (brows msg) amqsreq,DISPLAY,ALTER,START,STOP,and
so forth,i think i installed any fix pack.currently my sym have mq v6.0 & also wmb v6.1

Hardly surprising, your syntax is completely screwed: amqsput QUEUE QMGR, or substitute amqsputc if you were expecting to use that SVRCONN you created - after having set up all the dependencies to use amqsputc of course.

And by the way the commands you described, while they are executed at the command line, are not mqsc commands...

AMQSPUTC is not an MQSC command. It is a Windows command program that runs from the Windows command prompt.

ALTER is not a Windows command program. It is an MQSC command program that runs from the MQSC command prompt, which is accessed using a Windows command program.

It seems likely you should be using neither, and sticking to using the MQ Explorer until you have a better grasp of non-GUI interfaces.
