Is there any resource guide that can provide some detail on using the MQ Client on/in Micro Focus and cobol apps? Specific any configuration or application changes needed for client connection from MCF on Linux to MQ Server on Windows.

Aside from this you mean?

Apart from this it's a standard client configuration with all the usual requirements as laid out in the client manual. Though my experience was a few years ago and with an early CSD of v5.3.
