The documentation says
Quote: |
If a domain user installs WebSphere MQ, the Prepare WebSphere MQ Wizard detects that the local user (MUSR_MQADMIN) created for the WebSphere MQ services (AMQMSRVN) cannot retrieve the group membership information of the installing user. In this case, the Prepare WebSphere MQ Wizard always prompts the user for the account details of the domain user account for the WebSphere MQ services to use.
|
However, during a silent installation we're not going to get any prompts from a wizard. The response file doc does not provide any options to deal with this scenario. In a silent install how should the admin deal with this problem? |

The documentation also states that you can feed in an MQParms file to provide the domain user and domain details, as stated HERE (V7.0) but it was no different for V5.3 and V6.0. As an aside, I thought W2K was out of support? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
