Hello All,
I have a requirement to send the XML messages to IMS Bridge queue. I'm using Message Broker flow to send messages to IMS. My message flow gets the SOAP requests from the clients. And my message flow is like this
HTTP INPUT-->SOAP EXTARCT--> COMPUTE-->MQ OUTPUT.( And also storing the HTTP request Identifer in queue for the response)
MQGET-->COMPUTE-->HTTP OUTPUT.
To accomplish this I creaed a message set from the XML structure after the SOAP node. And in the compute node I'm appending LLZZ TRANCODE to my input message. But after sending the request to IMS bridge queue I'm not getting the response.
Could you please tell me if I'm missing something? |

Is IMS Bridge reading the messages off the queue?
Does the IMS transaction get executed.
Does the IMS bridge know where to reply to? _________________ Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory. |

This may be a silly question, but I've seen the mistake made before ...
Exactly how are you calculating the length value, i.e. the LL, and are you storing the ZZ as a binary zero value?
Plus, have you compared your method with the examples in the help documentation?
Now, if you method for generating the LL value is correct, have you verified that the data is as expected by the IMS application? _________________ Bill Matthews |
