Please forgive my ignorance as I've only been working with MQ and the API in C# for a few days. I've managed to get everything working with the exposed API's and perform gets/puts/etc. against my queue, but for this application it would be extremely helpful if I was able to connect *without* a tab file.
Why? This "application" (ultimately a DLL) is really an error recording application that is going to be utilized across our enterprise, so as little setup as possible for each application/server would be preferred. As you can imagine, attempting to deploy a tab file to 50+ servers that already utilize their own files eliminates any simplicity of integrating my DLL within a new application.
So here's my question: is it possible to utilize the API and connect without a CCDT file (and *not* get a 2058 error ) or at the very worst, use a specified TAB file instead of the one set in the system environment? I've searched for an answer already, so please forgive me if this has been answered previously, I simply couldn't locate the answer. |

If you'd searched in the Clients manual, you'd have discovered there are 2 methods of connecting without a CCDT, as well as a way of pointing to a specific, user defined TAB file.
