Hi ,
Currentely on AIX server we have DB2 8.1 , Message broker 6.1.0.4 are using that database . For Db2 8.1 we have instance inst61 . Everything is running fine .
We have plan to install Db2 9.5 on same AIX machine at different location with instance inst95 . Then how should I proceed for catalog ?

Also If any issue come for DB2 9.5 then how should I back to use Db28.1 with instance inst61 ?

How to back up catalog and restore it ?
Please help me .

Discuss this with your DB2 admin. It's pretty basic stuff.

And you won't "back up" the catalog, or "restore" it.
