We are trying to set JMSOuput Node configurable property dynamically, but it seems that only the "Destination Data" queue name can be set dynamically as per IBM documentation. Not the rest of the properties.

Quote:
Quote:
SET OutputLocalEnvironment.Destination.JMSDestinationList.DestinationData[1] = 'jndi://TestDestQueue1';

Above shows how to set the Queue Name dynamically what about rest of the properties in a JMSOutput Node i.e. JMS Provider Name, Initial Context Factory, Location JNDI Bindings, Connection Factory Name. Can we set all of these dynamically, as its a "Output node" so that much control should be there.

Regards

Are you *really* going to be changing *JMSProviders* or *JNDI SERVERS* that often, that you can't just change it during deploy?

Are you really *sure* you're *ever* going to be changing JMS Providers? And that you actually want to do that WITHOUT having previously *tested* that Provider?

You appear to be trying to be so clever that you make your life harder than it has to be.

Hi jeff, JNDI directory would be changing from environment to environment, but I can keep JMSProviders and JNDI as constant.

Thanks. Now, it doesnt sound that much of a work.

Changing "from environment to environment" is pretty expected and basic.

You set that when you deploy.

Or, really, your Broker Admins set it when they deploy.

There's not much use to change this in your code.
