Hello,
We have created 4 Qmanagers and made them part of several clusters. But before making them part of new cluster, we didn't suspend the Qmanagers. But we deleted the old channels explicitly. Because of this, the auto cluster sender channles didn't get deleted. And they are now causing a problem.
So my question is "Is there a way to delete the old auto cluster sender channels" or "Is there a way to delete the messages from the queue SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE"
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
KONIJETI BALAJI. |

for the next time you should consult the cluster manual first, in that manual there are procedures described how to handle a cluster and how to perform spedific actions on queuemanagers belonging to clusters.
refresh cluster could help to get rid of old cluster definitions, but maybe your environment is already screwed up too much to make it work. you could try it anyway.
if you stop the cluster repository manager you may be able to delete whats in the SCRQ, but make sure you start from scratch with all cluster objects or refresh your qmgr properly to rebuild cluster definitions.
maybe its better to rebuild queuemanagers and start from scatch in a clean environment. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

REFRESH CLUSTER should do it. But read carefully what that command does and the possible downsides.

I don't believe this is a supported action. That queue is for internal use by the queue manager, and is not intended to be the subject of manual intervention. To clear out cluster state, the supported thing to do is use the REFRESH CLUSTER command. |

You failed to explain what problem you are experiencing. Without knowing what problem/symptom you see, there is no reason to presume that you need to clear the SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE.
The same can be said of the RESET CLUSTER command. It's use depends on what issues you have. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
