my question is in reference to the below issue:

I am experiencing the same issue and i have done the solution(cleaning the metadata) provided in the thread but still the issue exists.

when i provide the -data option as the clearcase workspacce (where .metadata donot exists)it only adds the messageset but not the msgflows and shows error as given in the above mentioned thread

but when i mention the -data option to the workspace where the actual projects reside(the one which hass metadata inf)it shows an big chunk of error message but the last of the error says :connect to clearcase and create the bar but it CREATES THE BAR (which i am looking for).

Also thought to mention when i try to build the bar using the toolkit there are no such problems .

Is ther any way that this issue can be resolved??

ok now this is good now the issue is taking a new turn

i have checked out all the projects from clearcase and now i have executed the mqsicreatebar command with workspace, where the actual projects reside(the one which has metadata inf) not the clearcase where the projects are checked in, now it shows up the issue which is exactly detailed in the below thread:

by this it seems like there can be some issue with the mqsicreate bar command

i am sorry to give such statement but the fact is that bars build perfectly in the toolkit without any error and issue.

(may be thinking to open a PMR advice me on this)
