Hi All,

Is it possible to know which applications are sending messages to a local queue in a particular Queue Manager? If so then how can we find it out?

Use the runmqsc command DIS QS(QUEUE) TYPE(HANDLE) ALL.
Here is some sample output:
Code:

dis qs(qp1) type(handle) all
     1 : dis qs(qp1) type(handle) all
AMQ8450: Display queue status details.
   QUEUE(QP1)                              PID(29104)
   APPLTAG(amqsput)                        TID(1)
   APPLTYPE(USER)                          CHANNEL()
   CONNAME()                               BROWSE(NO)
   INPUT(NO)                               INQUIRE(NO)
   OUTPUT(YES)                             SET(NO)
   USERID(nigelg)
