Hello, is there a document with information about performance of file nodes usign ftp on WMB 6.1 and/or 7.0 ?

I have look into the performance report but they only talnk about local files not using FTP.

There are several reasons why I think this is.

Lets start:-

1) Network latency. Even how the adapter is configured can make a hell of a difference. Auto Negociate imposed an overhead.
2) Network speed & Traffic
3) Destination System Performance and loading and Operating System
4) Target System FTP Server performance. There are differences even on a Linux box between the different FTP Servers

What I'm trying to say is that there are far too many imponderables to make a report meaningful.

I'm sure there are other reasons than those I've identified above.
