When I tried to start the SDR channel I am getting the following error

AMQ9509: Program cannot find open queue manager object.

The channel is of type SDR. When I looked at the transmission queue the ipprocs and opprocs both are 1. It was running fine until this morning. Channel Initiator is up.

AIX 4.3.3
MQ: 5.2 CSD04

The channel is up. Instead of runmqsc and doing a start channel i tried runmqchl and it worked.

BUT
I have three ipprocs and three opprocs. Am I good? For all the transmission queues on other channels the ipprocs and opprocs are just one.

If I recycle the queuemanager will I get rid of the ipprocs? Is it safe to leave it as it is?

Well I dont see how you can have multiple ipprocs if the transmission queue is set to EXCLUSIVE, but you will have one opproc for every application who has a queue remote open that points at that xmitq

I have no idea how the ipprocs is set to 3. Like as I said when the channel was down ipprocs on the transmission queue was 1 (it should be 0 I guess). When we restarted the channel using runmqchl we see ipprocs = 3 and opprocs = 3.

What do you mean EXCLUSIVE

Do you mean if this transmission queue is exclusively being used by this channel? Yes only this channel uses this transmission queue.

Can I live with the three ipprocs. Right now everything is good though... so...
