Hi all,
When trying to create a Queue manager using WebSphere MQ Explorer,
that was not created.
The Error I am getting is "Default Objects cannot be created, AMQ5615,CompCode=2, Reason=2059, ExitValue=71".
I got stuck in this. I also reinstalled MQ 2-3 times so that this will get resolved, but failed
Any workaround.
Regards,
Vivek

Which version of MQ?
Have you tried from the command line? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi
I think the administrator/ root is not a member of mqm group.
Just ensure the above matter matter and let us know
Thanks and Regards

Perhaps if you answered the other questions posed in this rather old thread? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Can you please reply with the FDC files generated from /var/mqm/errors?
Also try running crtmqm/strmqm as mqm from the command line and see what you get?
My guess is that you failed to set ownership correctly somewhere... |

strmqm<qmname> is throwing me this
Default objects cannot be created: compcode = 2 Reason = 2059
strange that i dont see any FDC's in var/mqm/errors or any errors at var/mqm/qmgrs/<qmname>/errors |

When doing dspmq, do you see the QM listed?
If so try strmqm -c <QM name>
Are you logged in as mqm or part of mqm group? |

I assume it is a release of Solaris - what version?
Perhaps the installed files got their permissions set wrongly, or your ID got its group membership changed. Check outputs from:
id
ls -l /opt/mqm/bin/strmqm
ls -l /opt/mqm/bin/amqzxma0 |
