hi,
i have the same false behavior. Downloaded ms03 ( SAVEQMGR V6.1.2 ) and tryed to start it on aix 5.3, MQ 5.3 FP 10 and get :
> ./saveqmgr.aix -?
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program ./saveqmgr.aix because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module /usr/lib/libmqm.a(libmqm.o) could not be loaded.
0509-103 The module has an invalid magic number.
I compiled it with those changes in makefile.aix:
CC = /usr/vac/bin/xlc
CCOPTS = -c -DUNIX -o $*.$(OBJSUF)
CCOPTC = -c -DUNIX -DUSEMQCNX -o $@
LCOPTS = -o $@ -L$(MQMLIB) -L. $(LIBS)
LCOPTC = -o $@ -L$(MQMLIB) -L. $(LIBC)
After that I run:
saveqmgr.aix -m qmgrname -f out.file -1 and
saveqmgr.aix -m qmgrname -f out.file -2
and there isn't any TARGQ definition for aliases.
Then I've changed queue.c like you suggest ( but I think that my queue.c was already like that ) and compiled again. saveqmgr gives the same result like before.
Any other hint? |

Please do not resurrect two year old posts, please start a new one. Also, if you try a fix and it doesn't work, contact the maintainer directly as it will reduce latency in answering.

responding to your email.
A couple of public comments,
1)Yeah, there's a bug here. I'm shipping a new release this week - waiting for a couple of platform builds that I don't do myself.
2) 5.3 is *way* out of support, and the presupplied version is failing because it's a 64bit executable and you're running a 32bit mq install, because all 5.3 installs are 32bit. |
