Hi guys,
Can you anyone explain how transactional messages are recovered in WMB.
More precisely in a 2 phase commit.
What happens if the Broker crashes in the middle of processing a transactional message. If its rolled back to input Queue, who will take care of this roll back, is it going to be MQ Queue Manger or is there a inbuilt recvoery mechanism (atleast in WMB 7!!)? If not can a custom recovery mechanism be built around it?
Thanks

The queue manager rolls the message back as it would if any application crashes before committing the UOW.
But this has nothing I can see to do with Distaster Recovery, which typically assumes everything's gone down in a blaze of glory; broker, queue manager, hardware, all of it. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
