Hi,
How Do I read the messages from the dead letter Queue?
Is it possible to eliminate the messages from the dead letter queue??

Hi,
Sample program amqsbcsg will let you browse the messages in the DLQ. The utility "runmqdlq" will let you requeue them, or alternatively, you can just lose them by doing a "clear ql(SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE)" in runmqsc and then pouf! they're gone  |

if using Win, you can see the messages in MQExplorer. Just remember that there is additional header at the front of the application data.
If on OS/390, there's an utility for browsing DLQ in one of this year's MQUpdate. _________________ Marcin Grabinski <>< |
