I need to check the timestamp of the files from the mqsiarchive directory. But it adds the timestamp based on UTC(GMT). I need the local timezone there. So is there anyway to change this?

Any help is appreciated...

As one reply there says, if you are using V7 then this shouldn't be a problem.
