A workspace is just a folder with a .metadata directory in it.
You can delete it anytime. |

I deleted my entire tempworkspace folder but when I see the workspace launcher , I see both of them , the actual one and also the temp one.
C:\Documents and Settings\administrator\IBM\wmbt6.0\workspace
C:\Documents and Settings\administrator\IBM\wmbt6.0\tempworkspace
My Question remains the same. How to delete those instances permanently ? |

... If you never click on it, and open new workspaces, it will go away eventually.
There are also workspace preferences that control how many of these are kept, or at least there used to be... don't find it in my v7 Toolkit.
Otherwise, if for some reason this is really really bothering you, you can look in the .settings directory of your Toolkit install, in the org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs file.
But it's really a lot of effort. |

I'll just leave it trying with preferences page. |
