Job description:
Successful applicants will join a team responsible for providing support for Middleware products used within the organization. Key aspects of the role will include:
Technical support to development teams and to assist in the analysis, design of environments.
Planning, implementation and specification of changes, enhancements, and additions to existing systems troubleshooting, on-call and Problem Resolution support for operational issues 24x7 relating to Middleware products. Work on-site with a team of support professionals in Dubuque, IA
Continuous improvements to existing services through: Risk management, Change control, Configuration management, Industry best practices, LEAN methodologies,
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT organization in a support / systems administrator role. Experience installing, configuring and managing with more than 3 of the following products:
WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker, WebSphere Business Integration, WebSphere Datastage, R3Link, WebSphere Transformation Extender
Experience with multiple operating systems including, Windows, UNIX, AS/400, and OS/390 experience including PERL scripting experience.
Experience in a high availability environment, preferably working to SLAs.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge/experience with WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Commerce Suite, SeeBeyond, Tibco Business Suite, and other like product support
Experience implementing SOA and messaging solutions
Understanding of programming - application development experience with J2EE and/or other like languages
Ability to utilize scripting languages a plus
Directory Services knowledge. Experience using Active Directory / LDAP and other access/identity product support
Important Notes:
Location: Must be onsite in Dubuque, IA –Cannot do remote
Requires the candidate be a US Citizen or Green card holder
