Hi,
We have MQ with Version 6.0.1, and on the queue a service account lets say Service1 has been given access on the MQ to push data into it. Now In order to push data from a system, client has to be installed. Now when installing the client, on a system, should we login in with Service1 as userid and install? or I can login with any account(eg Service2) in the box and can install the client, to push data into the queue.

Is client installation depends on the login credentials.

1) You install the client like any other piece of software on Windows, using an id with relevant authorities

2) This has nothing at all to do with putting data to the queue, which uses whatever credentials are supplied to the queue manager as part of that process.

There are a number of discussions in this forum, and a wealth of information in the documentation, on the various ways these credentials can be supplied and the rules governing their use.

Hi
You basically means, even with some other credentials(not the one which has service account on the queue), we can install the MQ Client.
And later using this client with actual service account we can push the data.
Is my understanding correct.

It means that you will need an account with the privilege to install software, e.g. Administrator.

Provided everything is set up correctly, yes.
