Hi All,
i am facing an issue while achieving the below requirement. please help
requirement
1. read the messages from the queue at different time frames (timer node sceduled to run 7 times daily), and create the delimited file(File output node).
Every time the scheduled flow runs the backup of the file from previous run should be created and new records should be appended into the file (so for 7 runs we should have 6 back up files and one complete file). Can we create the file in append mode or open an existing file to write records into?
Pls Note: we are not suppose to use another Queue for backup/storage purpose.
MQInput-->Java Compute Node-->FileOutputNode
Solution: i have used Java Compute Node, which does the transformation of the input message and appends in the same file to create the end of the day file. But here we are not able to create the backup file for different runs, JCN can not identify the individual runs.
So i thought of using File output node in the end of JCN, which can take the backup accordingly but the problem here is how to convert the message to MBAssemblyMessage, since our transformed message is in FileWriter object. Could any body please suggest whether the approach is correct or not, also please provide the efficient way of doing this if any.
thanks in advance
regards

dont use native java Objects in MB, use only MB java APIs. you are trying to implement a java application program in MB.
you have used FileWriter Object over here,, Why?, as your output node is fileOutputNode,
my opinion is use MB API which helps you to achieve this in a pretty good way with good performance. _________________ Regards
