Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to WPS/WID so please excuse any obvious faux pas's!

I've recently installed WID 6.1.2 on my Windows 7 workstation, along with MQ v7.

The applications that I have deployed to WPS all use client connections to MQ. However, when I start my applications I get an error that MQJBND05 cannot be found.

This seems weird to me since the corresponding DLL does not appear to be part of MQ v7, MQBND05.DLL definitely exists in separate MQ v6.x installs that I have but it seems to have changed it's name in v.7.

Which leads me on to my next question, since the java libraries are included in my PATH statement, shown below, why does it appear to be looking for an MQ v6.x dll and is there any way to redirect it to the proper files?

C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib64;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\client;C:\Windows\System32\Windows System Resource Manager\bin;C:\Windows\idmu\common;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin64;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\tools\c\samples\bin

Finally, all my applications are conencting to MQ in client mode rather than bindings mode, so I'm even more confused as to why it is even looking for this DLL!

Any help as always appreciated!

Hi,

Managed to figure this out. Changed the MQ_INSTALL websphere variable to point to the v7.0 install.

Why this setting is not under JMS providers I'm not sure, would make more sense.

Cheers
