Hi,

if your broker runs on windows you can use for example the Microsoft Process Explorer to distinguish the processes.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx

For unix you can use
ps -ef | grep bipservice

Presumably you weren't expecting this, and also presumably it's causing a problem, but this is all presumption as you don't actually articulate a question.

Nor do you mention platform, broker version or what was going on just before these processes turned up "all of a sudden". Indeed, how did they come to your attention?
