Does anyone know whether there is any explict support for implementing RESTful services in Message Broker. I have seen a few snipptes that suggest some support in the HTTPInput and HTTPRequest nodes but can't find any significant documentation. Had a look over at developerworks and again only subliminal references only unless you're using DataPower (which I'm not).
I want to implement the full range of HTTP verbs but most importantly GET, PUT, DELETE and HEAD and only optionally POST (its not very restful). Not sure HttpInput/Request support anything other than GET/POST ?
I think I also read somewhere that version 6.1.04 and above can parse the URL queryString into name/value pairs, so that will be useful.
Thanks

One place could have been this post from earlier today, when that ability was described by a highly authoritative source. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Yes you can do REST with WMB. As of 6.1.0.4 the HTTPInput node (and HTTPRequest node) support GET, PUT, DELETE, HEAD and POST. See my and yes, 6.1.0.4 can parse the query string as well if you check an option in the Input node. _________________ MGK
