Hi All,

An application puts MQ messages on a queue with a specific value of Expiry in MQMD specified (say an hour).

When those messages expired, is there any way that I can tell in MQ to move those messages to another queue with a new Expiry setup for more investigation later on (required by businness)?

The point is, even they are expired, I still don't want to lose those messages. I want to move them to another queue with new Expiry for more invetigation.

Can that be done?

If you don't want them deleted when the expiration ends, then don't set Expiry.

Expired messages are unavailable to any application at all, including MQ.

You can set report options that will cause a *new* message to be created. This can include the full data of the expired message.
