Hi,
I have a requirement to send an XML message and an image file from desktop applications to a central server. This will be a request/reply flow. The desktop application can send a write request to the application with the xml and the image file and the central application will archive this information in the database and send an id back to the client application. In case get requests, the client application sends the id and the central application will send the xml and image file back.
We are using WMB v6.1 and the size of the image file can go upto 10 MB. Could you please suggest a best way to carry out this exchange?
We currently have request/reply flows in the broker taking input using https and forwarding the request to the central applicaiton using queues (after transformation) and vice versa.

You can send an XML message with a binary field included.
The Message Model format type I've used is Base64. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
