I'm testing the MQ 7 HA feature using contact admin.
I have three Virtual machines (VMs) on my machine. I installed MQ 7.0.1 on 2 VM's and am trying to follow the procedure as described in the Infocenter (creating Multi Instance QMGRs on Linux)
I'm using openSuse 11.2 on all my VM's but the example taken in the Infocenter is for RHEL 5.
All went well except for the hard mounting of my /MQHA in my first VM (where the queue manager has been created) to the second VM (I have a similar folder in VM2 as well with exact replica of access rights and such).
I've been trying since a long time to mount the drive (/MQHA) from VM1 to VM2. But all my efforts were in vain so far.
May I ask you for a way to mount the /MQHA drive in VM1 to VM2?
Please advise.
I appreciate all your replies..
NOTE:- When I tried mount -t nfs IP_VM1:/MQHA /MQHA (on VM2) I get an error mount.nfs: mount to NFS server '192.168.32.128:/MQHA' failed: timed out, giving up
