OK please excuse the complete newbie question:
Can MQ Client be configured to pick-up and drop off files from M$ file shares.
Background, we have a client who uses MQ and Tivoli. We host an SaaS app for them. Communication between our clouds is via WsFTP that is initiated by a scheduler (Sentinel) on a Citrix server. The client would rather get rid of FTP, and the two other applications. Is this possible, from the scant info I've found on IBMs site it would appear so. Any help gratefully received.
Thanks in advance, Av!d |

An MQ-using application can pull a file from just about anywhere, and form it into a message, or messages, but if you want something rock-solid and auditable, take a look at WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition (FTE). _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

An MQ application, using a client connection, can do this. WMQ client doesn't contain any functionality, it's just a set of libraries. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
