Hi,

I got an error while getting the msg from the queue.
MQGET(QMGR='Q3SCIB05',Q='QL.KP.KPFS.DEMG.LFS') failed: reason code 2102.

display qlocal(QL.KP.KPFS.DEMG.LFS)
2 : display qlocal(QL.KP.KPFS.DEMG.LFS)
AMQ8409: Display Queue details.

where as when i browsed the queue local.. then current depth was 0 and OPPROC is 1, where as IPPROC is 0.

Dont even find any errors on queuemanager error log.

mqrc 2102
2102 0x00000836 MQRC_RESOURCE_PROBLEM

and i have checked the resource as

df | grep Q3SCIB05
/dev/lv1913_q3scib05 5373952 507768 91% 1153 1% /MQHA1913/Q3SCIB05/data

...as 91% is used space., that could be the reason for the issue. But can't bet on that.

Ya i don't find any FDC for that.

Platform: AIX5.3
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.2.1

MQGET application, is an application java code.. I dont have visibility to that. sorry to say that.

Appli. was trying to MQGET and they were getting that error. Its for that queue only not for all the other queues on the qmgr.

Pls suggest.

Well you did not specify anything but I guess that
/MQHA1913/Q3SCIB05/data is your mount point.

Now it would probably be of great help for us to know what kind of data lies beneath: qmgr restart/recovery logs? or is it linked to any of the other MQ paths?

Typically MQ is not too happy if any of its spaces is over 75% full. It will reduce the capability of logging and persistent messages in linear logging.
When that space get to near used up the qmgr might go into shutdown or show some bizarre and unexpected behavior...

And remember a qmgr is not a database. The ideal qdepth is 0!

Have fun

MQRC_RESOURCE_PROBLEM is not only related to disk space.
Check
- log file size
- memory
- shared memory
...

I would expect a more specific entry in AMQERR*.lOG and maybe a FDC.
Look in mqm/errors, too.

Where did you look? What did you find? When was the last FFST, what did it say, and had the qmgr been restarted since then? Did you check for errors in other application logs, such as the broker logs?

Are there any messages stuck on other queues?

Have you contacted your local MQ admin group to help investigate the issue?
