Hi,
Application Details : MQ Series5.2,MQSI2.1 For Windows NT4.0
We are using the MQ server for our application Development ,
where Our "N" applications communicate with the MQ Server & MQSI (V2.1) for getting the information required using Publish-subscribe Methdology.(using JAVA API classes)
We are currently under going performance testing of our MQSeries connectivity and publish & subcribe performance
if anyone had any specific performance/scaling tips with dealing with MQ & MQSI?

the performance of WMQI will depend on many variables as you've probably been told and already know , such as ...
- number of nodes
- amount of executable code
- etc , etc.
as for scaling, you should look at the number of execution groups and brokers. be wary that there is a threshold at which point you will start to get contention of resources which will affect the performance.
there are also a number of support pac on the IBM website which detail performance on various platforms
