hi all,
we have MQ version 6.0.2.7 installed on windows 2003 server cluster.
one of our clients connects to us (to server connection channel) using Java.
It seems that after long idle time (~10 hours) they get kicked off when trying to put a message.
the error they get is:
com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2009
the error i see on the server is:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: WebSphere MQ
Event Category: None
Event ID: 9208
Date: 12/15/2009
Time: 8:34:11 AM
User: N/A
Computer: NY1P-MQ1
Description:

any thoughts?
Ask the network people how they handle long-time idle connections. I would not be surprised to find they assume they're orphaned and close them. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
