The way the manuals referenced in the Library and Infocenter links at the top of the page tell you to...

However and more importantly why would you want to?
The pattern is that of an anonymous identifier so you just need to grab it once it's been set...

Best practice says let MQ create it for you!

can you a provide sample program to do it...right now we using C++ but for the new requirement should have java app...after trying in java we getting header error 2142...Thanks

There are plenty of examples in the samples, and check out the delivered samples with the product. (Make sure they got installed).
