hey

i was working on a project a webservice communicating with CICS and it worked perfect .. but now iam asked to do the same using MQ to perform faster ..

iam using ibm websphere integreation developer, in fact i didnt know anything about it before then .. so i read alot about the subject and how i will get through that ..

found many tutorials using plug-in B87 or something like that to generate custom data-type .. but it's not working maybe cuz it was for 6.1 and iam running on 6.2

anyway, i was able to send to MQ queue xml but couldn't send CLEAR string so that the CICS can invoke ..

all i want is to send STRING "blah, blah, blah" to queue manager and receive it .. i guess i have to define custom data type duno if i have to code java or not .. actually iam LOST

already saw many figures, many articles, many talk about the whole thing some steps to follow would be good to start ..

so plz, any help would be aprectiated ..
