Hi Guys,

i have seen the new feature in WMBv6.1 that we can authorize the users based on username+password tokens, is there any document or any steps to configure it on MQ Server. Do we need to integrate MQ server with LDAP?

Thanks for the links.

I followed the instruction from the infocenter,

1. Executed the mqsisetdbparms to point broker to LDAP server.
mqsisetdbparms -n ldap::<servername> -u username -p password
2. Executed the mqsicreateconfigurableservice

mqsicreateconfigurableservice WBRK_BROKER -c SecurityProfiles -o LDAP
-n authentication,authenticationConfig,authorization,authorizationConfig
-v "LDAP,\"ldap://ldap.acme.com:389/ou=sales,o=acme.com\",LDAP,
\"ldap://ldap.acme.com:389/cn=All Sales,ou=acmegroups,o=acme.com\""

3. Create the security profile on the broker.
4. But unfortunately it is not showing up the Security profile in MQ Input properties (Bar file properties)

Anyone any idea, any success to anyone

Yes i too got the same doubt, the security profile is not reflecting at MQInput node properties.
Then i manually edited the security profile name and traced the log by putting trace node after MQInput. The trace is clearily showing the provided identity tokens in the MQInput node are hitting the LDAP and authenticated.

Instead of providing at each node level, its better to configure after bar file creation, which causes to all level of nodes which has the property Security Profile.
