Hi All,
I'm using FileOutput Node from a Message Broker and can't understand how to set charset for a file that Broker generates as the output of a flow.
The esql code:
"SET OutputRoot.Properties.CodedCharSetId = '1200';"
didn't help me.
Output File has generated in ANSI in every cases.

Hi,

I have search this forum for a while, without finding a good solution.
What is the best way to store a file with the FileOutput node in let's say utf-8?

Convert to bitstream first with ccsid 1208?

Suggestions appreciated.
(havent investigated mb7 yet)

The normal way is to simply set OutputRoot.Properties.CodedCharsetId to the desired value. That should work for any type of output node.
Did you try that?
