Hi,
Can anyone suggest me how to restore the files which are in SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE to the local queue

It's covered in the manuals, or search the Info Centre. As a personal preference, I do not use the S.D.L.Q but define a separate QL as one - saves on issues where patterns are used for OAM.

For the purposess of clarity and precision, WMQ deals with messages. You will find messages in queues like the DLQ. The application data component of a message can be a file or whatever else your application requires.
