Hello Friends,
I have been exploring the capabilities of WMB 7.0 in specific to Security while trying to integrate with LDAP.
I am unable to figure out how to create Security Profiles in WMB 7.0 via the Toolkit. The help and docs talk about broker domain which no longer exist.
Would highly appreciate if anybody who has explored the Security features of WMB 7.0 could point me to the equivalent Docs / security configurations.
Thanks

It is there but just not where you are looking for it.
Try in the Updated WMQ Explorer which has broker extensions included. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

Yes, this needs to be clearly understood.
The Broker Toolkit for v7 is *only* for development. It is not for any significant Broker administration at all.
The Broker Explorer components installed into MQ Explorer are *only* for administration, and does not support any significant Broker development at all.
This does mean that if you are doing local development and administrative testing, then you need to run two tools instead of one.
However it also means that your administrators no longer have to install Toolkit on their workstations. |

Hi,
I also have been trying to explore the features and came across the authentication Information under the advanced options in MQ Explorer. This suffices for Queue based security
I am however still no clear about the authentication of webservice calls in case I am exposing the flow as a service via http/ soap nodes as was available in the earlier version. |
