read the documentation, look at the samples, search the forum, try what you can try, then return with your specific questions. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

You only see subscriptions if there are subscribers. |

Users don't subscribe.
Programs subscribe.
By making subscriptions. |

by making subscription to the broker giving details of topic and destination etc..
Pub sub manual of WMB or even the samples have all this explained in far decent and easy ways... just have a look and move on faster

hi,
I am unable to deply the samples from the sample gallery in the toolkit.Earlier i deployed the sample from sample gallery it was working fine but now it is not working
also I am unable to delete the execution groups .I have tried both using the command line and toolkit.
Using command line it says that either CM is not running or listener is not connected or network is down. But all the things are working fine.
Please help.
Thanks Shaddy |

Not working how? Error messages? Return codes? Smoke & fire? Flying lizards armed with cannons destroy your machine before it can process the instruction?
A little more information, a little more advice.

I suspect this is linked to your inability to deploy. Clearly all things are not working fine, and you should diagnose this in the usual way.
And this all seems a long way from your original posted question. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It's Friday, things might have turned a corner and I'm on my third strongly caffinated beverage. Which is being diluted by nothing more than the normally caffinated beverages already consumed.
I also believe these new generic anti-smartass pills, while cheaper, are not as effective. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi,
I have created the user name server and broker and created a sender and receiver channel between the broker and user name server.
I have also created topic .
Now i want to register a topic. This can be done by sending a subscription message to broker. I want to know how to send the subscription message to broker using graphical user interface.
Please help.
Many thanks

What's the difference between "creating a topic" and "registering a topic"?

So you mean you want to "register a subscription". Glad to see you've followed the advice, studied the manuals and have all the terminology sorted out.....

You can't, and if you really understood what you were asking you'd understand why it's a very strange thing to want to do.
A number of tools can generate subscription messages. Better still, have your subscribing application do it! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
