Dear all,

I have a block with 2 program activities. The process starter is being assigned to the first activity. After executing the first activity, the process starter is set absent. Then the block is being restarted and staff assignment goes back to the same process starter although he is absent. It will work(goes to the substitute) when I try to use People from Container instead of Process Starter in the staff assignment properties. How can I go about this if I still want to use the Process Starter as the activity's staff assignment?

What you are seeing is the documented behaviour. The Substitute is only used when Dynamic staff resoulution is performed, and by specifying Process Starter you are using Static staff resolution.

The solution would be a dummy activity up front that maps the Process starter to the _ACTIVITY_INFO.people member.
