Hi!!
I been working with JMSInput Nodes for a while now and have often seen this problem:
If no messages are put on an JMS queue, the messageflow/JMSinputNode stops consuming at the JMS queue.
The only way to get it to consume againg is to restart the flow..
I have been looking,(In docs aswell) but cant find any parameter to set some timeout etc.
Still i dont want the flow to timeout.
PMR time?
Environment:
OS: SLES 10 SP2
WMB 6.1.0.5
WMQ 7.0.0.1
JMS Provider:JBoss 4.3.0
Best Regards!

Hi!
I dont have additional instances towards the JMS provider, and i also have the fixpack installed were this fix are included.
However in JBoss 4.3 remoting the parameter ClientLeasePeriod are set to 10000 ms(10sec).
The JBoss server will (by default) close a client if it does not receive a heartbeat in 2 * clientLeasePeriod ms(20 sec).
How often are WMB sending HB?
If the connection is closed, will WMB initiate an new connection?
The funny thing that an message were put on the JMS queue at 17.00, then everything where "calm" until 0200 were an new message where put on the JMS queue.
WMB consumed them both even if the where no messages between 17.00 and 02.00 thats 9 hours of "silence".
It was the same scenario the day before but the 02.00 message where not consumed by the WMB until i restared the messageFlow.
Best Regards!
