:o

Anyone know what the EXCINPUTQ is used for? I see that it is a non-persistant queue, so it must not be too important.

We are seeing a lot of messages stack up on this queue and today it hit the limmit crashing fmcamain.

Any info would be great..

Hi,
Did u get some thing like "FMC_API_COMMUNICATION_ERROR",MQReturnCode=2, MQReasonCode=2010, MQObjectName= FMC.CLIENT.EXC

Note taht FMC.CLIENT.EXC is a QALIAS for the EXCINPUTQ.

If u can put the trace it will be helpful to investigate in to what had happened.

Dave:

According to my notes this is the Runtime Client queue. I did this research about 2 years ago, but I doubt that this would have changed.

Nope

There is no errors that I can find anywhere in the logs. I just see a bunch of messages pile up in the excinputq and I don't know why. There is not much doc on this internal workflow queue.

I would make the assumption that this is a queue that holds messages for the runtime client. Since we use the web client maybe that would have an effect on this queue. I would like to mention that we do have an external Java program that does log into the Workflow system many times through out the day. Could that be the problem?

Any thoughts. ???
