In one of my interfaces ASBIT STREAM function is not working. When I debug the code at the below line the execution is getting stopped.

SET ReqAsBlob = ASBITSTREAM(InputRoot.MRM SET 'EBHAPGO002001' TYPE 'BS_CNH_CRF_Plant_Items' FORMAT 'TDS1');

Please let me know if there is anything wrong in this line.

You are doing it wrong. The debugger is not a good tool for diagnosing this type of problem ( it's really useful for non-parsing problems though ).
- Disconnect the debugger
- Take a debug-level user trace
- Read the trace carefully.

Please note - user trace is not the same as a Trace node. You need to use mqsichangetrace, mqsireadlog, mqsiformatlog. Search this forum for examples of how to do it ( or look at the product docs ).
